Rohan HAS the name... but why would he play TAC at HFFnot midfield ? ...if he is that good?
From what I have seen, Rohan may have the ability to play whereever we decide to develop him. Clearly has speed, and is very good defensively. Can play up forward with his defensive pressure, through the midfield with his speed or in defense (played full back for his senior club side - was reported somewhere).

In the TAC cup his side may have had a plethora of midfielders, and not as many tall, fast and defensively very good forward. Just guessing, but there could be many reasons for this.

Versitility appears to be one of his best attributes.

Because... he's a forward? ;)
As above I reckon he may have the ability to be trained anywhere on the ground. Very excited about him.

Very happy with the draft - only issue is that jetta is coming across as someone that homesickness could be an issues, but its good to see that goodes is taking him under his wing from the get go. I also hear that his older brother graham who plays in the same team as him in W.A will move to syd with him to give him some support.

It's ludicrous to rate our drafting right now. We won't know for 2-3+ years whether these picks pay off.

Though FWIW, I'm glad we've taken so many kids/picks compared to recent years and tried to address our lack of pace.

Congrats Sydney on picking up Trent Dennis-Lane.

Being a devout Subi supporter I have watched him grow and grow over the years and i have always thought he is a gem. Kicking 50+ goals last year was a great effort from Trent, and I wish him well at the Swans!
:)

My gradings

- Stocky, fat-bummed inside midfielders FAIL
- Dime-a-dozen half back flankers FAIL
- Recycled players FAIL
- Left footers FAIL (I think)
- Player named Jarred, Jarrad, Jared or Jarryd FAIL
- No indigenous players FAIL
- No key position players SEMI-FAIL

2/10

We got two indigenous players and a key position player?

I think the Swans did really well.

That Gary Rohan - amazingly fast - will be interested if/when he makes it to first grade this year. He will be on a modified program for a while i presume so hopefully by half way through the season we will see Rohan in action.

Also, Kennedy - he is a beast. Would be one of the most difficult players to tackle. I expect the Swans to be challenging for the finals.

Mumford - not in the draft i know - but also a great pick up.
