Good: Amazing start, and held on when we were challenged. Great composure. Bluey said going into this game he wanted the players to treat this like a final and they did.

5-2 at the bye must be considered a huge effort by the boys. Should hopefully move to 7-2 now and go into our tough 5 games with confidence and belief. I thought if we are to make the 8 we have to win today.

3 things i learnt today:
1. We are a much better side with Bennell and Dixon
2. they should mail Gazza his brownlow now
3. We are a huge chance for 8th, especially with how the crows, richmond and the dons are travelling

If Nicholls has done his PCL, that's 8 weeks at least. Gorringe out for the year too.

Smith timing is perfect. But we will have to go 4 weeks or so with Day and Rory rucking. Made easier with Bocky due back soon.
