Unbelievable byt he saints in my opinion.

Flying Nick up north for the game, coming back from a serious injury.

They would have been much better to send him to Sandringham for the week

Not necessarily, he'd either be returning at the Gabba or at Etihad and both grounds are suspect so it would going to be a risk either way in terms of surface. Ultimately, the positive side thinks that if he can get through the Gabba game then he should be right on any surface he'll be playing on in the future. Baptism of fire in a sense.

After all, there's still a chance he's going up for a run on it and if his reaction is suspect he'll be a late withdrawal.

I just think it is a lil stupid to plonk him on a plane for 2 hours and then (maybe) playing him on a very dodgey ground

Good. The injuries to Riewoldt and Brown have been the biggest disappointments so far this season imo.

Hodgepodge wouldn't agree with you there.

hahaha to the Jack jokes :thumbsu:

I agree with the other poster, having the likes of J Brown and Roo out aren't good for footy.

As for Roo returning on the hard Gabba surface, is Etihad deemed any less of a risk...we have something like 7 games there on the run home.
