That was a brutal watch. Surely one of the highest clanger / OOTF counts ever? Was laughably constant all night.
Almost no positives; I know we’re young, but geez.

I can think of the night the dogs kicked 14 in a row against us. The night golden boy got the flick. Most times we travel interstate. Any recent finals appearances.The top up boys get a pass.
Tonight was particularly nasty due to the ineptitude of the opposition.

but really with Martin and Setterfield out, it just means that Perkins and Gresham get a reprieve who were only ok in a VFL side that got flogged.

Younger by a full year, even with a 38 y.o Goldstein in which inflates the age further. In addition to that a bunch of VFL plodders due to 12 players being unavailable, also losing another 2 key players mid game.

But yeh, having said all that still a ******* horrible display.

Here are my positives.

I thought Roberts played a very good game. Even though Archer May is very raw I liked some of the spots he got to. Had an almost game like Kako and Caddy. Different night maybe the luck goes their way? I thought Caddy could have had 3 or 4 but has to find a way to get in front of his opponent. Tsatas kicked a goal. That’s all I can think of.

Really? My first thought of Roberts after seeing the stats after watching that crapfest was "How the **** did he have 31 touches when he wasn't near it all night?"

I’d rather play Hobbs in the middle and bring in two small forwards

I’d play hobbs in the middle as much as possible, and see what he has. The rest is predictable, and I feel sorry for him being played out of position constantly. That’s said, when he gets a run in the middle, he doesn’t seem to take his chances - too much dear in the headlights. Would probably suit a different team IMO.

Clearly not paying any sort of attention, was in absolutely everything, his ball use by foot was cactus though.

Well I wasn’t the only one to point it out so yeah different perspectives and all that. I actually thought his disposal was better than usual and he was under a fair bit of pressure for a lot of those. When he got knocked down he bounced straight up and never gave up. He was our best imo. I thought Zerrett got a lot of it but he has played better games than that.

That’s beyond me, was ok, but the ‘he was nowhere near it’ comment is just utter dross.

I just checked the stats his disposal efficiency for the entire match was 87% now that’s not bad.
