Dow plays inside (it’s all he can do) and Sonsie plays outside (that’s all he can do)

Sonsie needs to work on his inside game in order to get a chance otherwise he’s up against the hybrids like Taranto and Hopper who can do both

For someone whose only skill is handballing and being agile, Dow sure did **** up a ton of handballs and get caught a lot today

These statements concern me.

I've never seen a guy get caught more with the ball. If he managed to handball it today it seemed to find a Brissy player almost everytime.

After last week I thought it might be time to give Armstrong a spell and give one of the others (Faull, Fawcett… maybe even Simms) a run of games. But hard to spell him on the back of today. Love that all of them just love to compete, and have a fair bit of campaigner about them!

Add a couple of elite mids through the draft, and give it a couple of years and we’ll be super competitive again.

Only change I'd make is Smith out for Smillie.

Wouldn't mind seeing Alger after another good performance but no need to rush him.

Kmac has to go out. Did f all except for tackles in the congestion, the rest of the time he was way too slow. His defensive running and pressure was non existent

Yeah, they just won't drop him. If he's got a role like he did Rd 1 I think he can be valuable to the team. Other wise he's a liability.

He’s improved, try’s hard, but below the level.
You want to see McAullife, Smillie and Lalor getting his midfield minutes as the year progresses.

Yep. Dow is a good runner though and more explosive then hopper and TT.

Really glad they played it out. Good effort by the tigs. We look so easy to play against at times when the system breaks down casing real problems for our backs, all things considered I feel they held up well today

Didn't see the first half, but saw most of the second and as has already been said Armstrong, Trainor and Lalor all impressed and Seth Cambell is going to be a jet in another couple of years. 28 points to the reigning premier and never stopped coming. We look so much better at home on the G. Still get burnt a little on transition, but that's to be expected with a relatively young list. Off today's efforts we'll give Freo a shake and can see us beating both Melbourne and The Druggos. The big thing for me though is the fact the seniors are 1-3 but VFL are undefeated proof we have real good depth with the youngsters. Not sure there will be too many changes

Played a great game in the magoos today and stuck some nice marks and offered some great leads when forward

Offers us something different at centre bounce as well that could help our midfield mix if we can get some taps to the outside
