Can't ask for much more than we got today against seriously good opposition. Hopefully performances like that translate to a few wins in the season against north, west coast, dees, Essendon etc.

Will be interesting to see now we've had a 4 week block if they decide to give some of the kids a bit of a rest given it's a development year.

I dunno about that. Melbourne, Eagles and maybe Essendon look a step below North and who knows if Carlton will implode from here or find some form.

McAuliffe in the midfield in place of McIntosh if he's fit. Kmac can then move to sub replacing Bauer.

Ralphsmith for Sonsie is an option too.

Dow is only gonna be on our list for a couple of years. Once Lalor, Smillie Hotton build up their tanks he won't be needed. He's only a stop hap at the moment.

If he’s a stop gap just stop him NOW and play the kids Kmac2 is a much better option

Great point short been poor for a few years only gets handball receives and then just bombs it normally to the opposition

Overall, I left with more positives. We didn't get smashed and kept going. Lalor 24 disposals, 2 goals (should've had 3), 4 tackles and 4 goal assists. Trainor 19 disposals and 4 marks. Armstrong was a little quiet compared to the other 2 but chimed in with some good marks and 2 goals. Seth Campbell is looking good, 15 disposals, 2 goals

Just on Trainor, we have a good one here. Love his endeavour and he likes to run and receive, but his disposal and decision-making can be a bit iffy at times. Went at 53%DE. No doubt, as he gains more experience and understands the speed of the game, he'll tidy that part of his game up.

Sims and Faull did well in the reserves today, both strong in the air. We have fixed our spine in the last few drafts ND/MSD
Balta, Gibcus, Fawcett, Blight, Gray, Amstrong, Faull, Sims, Lefal and Trainor will carry us for the next 8-10 years.

Now need to draft a few more speedy mids and some pressure forwards. We had 2 tackles inside 50 and Brissy had 13.
