Either no changes or drop Duffield, that was a seriously ordinary performance. One moment in the last, he just jogged to a contest while Betts sprinted and I lost it, started yelling at the tv.

Hardly the only one. The first half was alot of passengers out there. Have to make a case for Suttclife, Zac Clarke as well. Hill has dipped again, really would like him to have Pearce's intent. Just go bang.

Duffield was in lots of defensive contests, which was odd to see. He manged to break even in them.

Sutty had a shocker but I'm not convinced removing one of our last guys to tire is such a good move on a short break.

Duffield's been average for a while, not just the first half, the whole mate. I have an opinion about Sutcliffe that would cause a freo bigfooty meltdown, lets just say I agree with you about his performance at the very least.

You don't have to drop someone every week just because. And I can't see anyone getting dropped from this game.

Seriously I have seen at least 1 person calling for Sutcliffe to be dropped every week for years. And he hasn't so much as been subbed off in over a full season. He's not going to be dropped.

I'm not sure Richmond can go with Freo, perhaps Richmond's winning streak will come to an end on Friday night. However I will be there to cheer them on, I don't get to see them that often so I'm looking forward to seeing them in Perth next Friday night.

thank goodness for the block option on BF

In: Mzungu
Out: Sutcliffe

Sheridan played better than in a half than Sutty did the whole game. Sheridan to starting lineup and Gu as sub.

Reckon Sutcliffe would look pretty good coming on after a half playing the same role too. Not sure how an outside mid is comparable to a small defender forced to play with some accountability, their roles are completely different.

It is a short turnaround (given we play Friday night) and also given the wet conditions and close game may have taken a toll on some of our guys - wouldn't surprise to see a couple of changes, maybe Gu and A. Pearce in for MJ and (say) Duffman out for a rest.

Same thing when we go over to GC the week before the bye, might be time to get Sandi and Elvis and/or MJ a rest for Hannath/Griff/Pearce/Dawson...

So Yello Mit I have started next weeks thread for you already...

A lot players were limping, conditions were tough.

Richmond played in the other game tonight - so equal 6 day break for both sides.

No change except for injury or suspensions....

Different games really. Free flowing, mostly uncontested but tight game against the bombers against our grinding slop highly intense game where we were pushed the whole way. I can see why we'd pull up a little worse than Richmond will tonight.

how have you found time to watch the Richmond v Essendon game already??

Most fatigued following a game I've seen us all year. It was one hell of a tough slog, even Fyfe was struggling at the end.

I liked the fact the we had more in the tank than they did in the last and outran them. We didn't create a lot of chances for our dominance but we clearly had the better of that last quarter.

Because of the slog though I doubt I'll be saying the same thing next week
