Feels like this game is a test for Brad Scott and any changes he's made to our gameplan. It will be an interesting watch as Truck has a lot of inside knowledge on our players so how will Brad counter that? Last week we looked better when we held onto the ball and hit up short targets by foot. Need to have the confidence to do that for longer and play a territory game as we are ok at the clearances. The handball to a teammate under pressure undid us last week as it has so many times over the last 5 years. Then when we used the long bail out kick it was straight back in Brisbanes hands. If we go long we need to be set up to at least halve the contest. 16 extra turnovers compared to Brisbane last week. Richmond will be waiting for the same
Inside knowledge is so overrated.

Where was that intel on the Tiges when Truck was our coach? Didn't help much.

If no Kelly/Ridley, would really like to see Montgomerie in

Perkins - Langford - Tippa
Menzie - Weideman - Stringer
Draper - Parish - Shiel
Caldwell - Hobbs - Snelling - Heppell
Bryan

No but you asked the question of how Brad would counter Truck. Anyway.
Yeah im interested in how our coach responds to all teams tactics. Especially this week as Truck just finished a 4 year stint with our players so knows their strength and weaknesses well. Never suggested Brad devised the current gameplan specifically to counter Truck

This will be a huge test of our structure.

Can't see our inside 50 count improving but we must take 30-40% more marks. Could be Nightmaretime again.

Who can get the ball forward from the mids?

Hopefully no more injuries before game time but I will give the changes a go

Out: Setterfield (f*** it), Menzie, Massimo
In: Wanganeen, Ridley, Snelling

Would drop Phillips for Bryan but likely wettish weather gives Phillips another week for mine

Hind: Sub
