Whether it’s this game or not if we can get game/s into Downie, Callow, DGB and Saunders going into next year all
Of a sudden a few free agents will raise an eyebrow.

The back half of the year is going to be exciting and also help create the perception for cerra (and others) if we are to get them over the line

I would love to see Callow come in and canon ball the scum this week and in the years thereafter! Coming out the other week Bombers saying they are going back to their roots of playing hard old fashioned suburban footy again. Good luck against some old fashioned country footy ..... Newk says hi!

It's never as bad as it seems, it's never as good as it seems!

Not sure, does Morris potentially make way? Didn't make much of an impact. Morrison out too. Guess depending how the scrimmage goes Sunday but who would be in contention, Downie for Morrison? Brockman or Saunders for Morris?

Tbf think Morris looked a bit dodgy after the head clash so he might be off for a week anyway just to make sure he's right.

TOB needs to stay as extra tall down back unless DGB ready. Is everyone discounting Finn to come in. If Clarko saying why not on Callow why not with him. Could play defensive role on Hind who has been awesome. Morrison out injured and Morris. Cegs deserves to stay in after that as we have at least seen Reeves who has talent. We might end up getting a pick for Cegs if he keeps playing like that

He basically said what have we got to lose, give him a game. Lovely to hear from clarko! TOB was ok tonight but you’d think his spot is the one at most risk of being available for callow or jeka.
He was playing back, forward, wing and ruck. Not the BOG but his versatility is a real benefit when we’re playing well.

I think Clarko said in the presser that Cegs had been carrying a lower leg injury earlier in the year. Hope thats all it was. He was great last night..

O’Brien is O’Brien. I can’t see the club dropping him but 11 touches and no goals. With the all the dropped marks. It’s the same performance where people have called for him to be dropped but in a winning team.

Cegs will probably have another good game against Phillips. His ruckwork still needs a lot of work. But he was able to follow the ball when it was on the ground. Which is when he is at his best. If he is leg injury free as suggested this would explain it. Would like to see how cegs goes against a bigger, more agile ruckman than what he will face against dons.

I think Bramble in for Morrison will be the only change.

In relation to Cegs, AC already said in his press conference, so long as he continues to play like that, he stays in. End of debate.
His issue is consistency, no issue playing next week, deserves it.
However it is all on Ceglar now, given a chance, now take it and make Reeves work twice as hard to remove you from the side.

Hot competition for spots is a good thing. We have that now with rucks, key forwards, and when Hartigan gets back, DGB develops and, eventually, Sic comes back, we will have that for backs as well.

Sorry to intrude. Would it be a possibility that McEvoy goes back on the bigger bodied Hooker, Reeves comes in as no 1 ruck while Ceglar plays that fwd/ruck role? Reeves and Ceglar could do some damage resting fwd.
Fair point, worried about Hooker. But we can stretch their defence with Kosi, BB, and TOB.
Who do they have? Francis, BZT?

Possibly, but Frost is very strong and as long as the ball is brought to ground will beat Hooker 9 times out of 10 in a 50/50 contest.
