Q2 Thoughts

Very impressed with Serong. Seems to be enjoying being the main defender, he's intercepting/spoiling/rebounding. Some of his spoils in that second quarter were very impressive.

DGB isn't getting much of the ball but looks dangerous every time he does. He's the deepest forward in the goal square. 2 contested marks, 2.1, pretty good for his first real effort.

CJ slowed down a bit that quarter.

O'Sullivan is fast becoming my favourite. Work in traffic is great.

Hustwaite is also brilliant in traffic, has the sidestep you want in a player lacking speed.

Long, Stephens, Bramble all putting in good games. Mackenzie too although been fumbly in the conditions.

There is something there with Ryan I reckon. He’s almost trying too hard and rushing. Hope we give him more than 6 months, needs a full afl pre season. Got to look at the positives he’s getting so many scoring shots.
