I think a loss would surely be enough for ken to go. I won't go as I'm in Victoria but I'll closely watch rozee , Butters and Duursma as it's all we have to look forward to ..couldn't care less about the scoreI dont see any point in boycotting

I said only about 2 games haven't been affected by rain. For me that was North and GWS.Nothing wrong with the weather against GWS, 28k showed up it’s not just the rain REH
It's winter . It rains.I said only about 2 games haven't been affected by rain. For me that was North and GWS.
That doesn't make it good conditions like you said. It's winter . It rains.
They are of course but to the level we are , not so much. Saturday night Vs GWS in the dry was the telling point. That doesn't make it good conditions like you said.
You are ******* kidding yourself if you don't think every club is affected by weather.
it will send a message
although i dont think boycotting will be necessary, once the dogs result is known, no point going, no-one will go.
Why would you go to cheer and clap these clowns for their great season, they deserve nothing for what they have served up
A better strategy would be to end up with 50,000 at the game chanting Hinkley Out or No We Kent or something
A few thousand not turning up, who probably made their mind up weeks ago not to go anyway does nothing. In fact a whole stack of people not turning up to games, ensuring we make a loss on the day, helps to ensure he wont be sacked because the more that dont turn up, the more we cant afford to do it.
It wont send a message at all.
Has there ever been a sporting club whos made a decision on a few thousand boycotting supporters? Anywhere in the world?
Ill go to watch my football club play football and support them in playing football on the day.
Sure the GWS crowd was poor given the stakes of the game, but why did you say -They are of course but to the level we are , not so much. Saturday night Vs GWS in the dry was the telling point.
10,000 not turning up for one game the club misses out on a minimum $24,000, the SMA about on about 140,000 revenue and the SANFL about $30,000 catering commission. Not sure how much game day costs we have to cover are.Again, I totally disagree with this. The match day loss by having 10,000 less people rock up is minuscule compared to the loss of 10,000 memberships. This is the message these dickheads need to get and this is the message that will keep them awake at night.
Hard to support the actual team after their insipid effort on Saturday night. How many goal less quarters this year? How many other insipid efforts this year? They don't deserve my support after failing to take advantage of a gift to lock in a finals spot.i agree with macca in theory, we should all be there in solidarity to support the actual team out there every home game, if we hate the regime running the club we can voice that together. but we are pretty far away from that right now

I will go, but with no enthusiasm. Probably will wake up when an umpire makes a totally ridiculous call against us that is borderline corruption.
I like the thinking outside the box — a "Port Supporters Club"... Not sure it would have many support, but depending on how the actual club goes, it might get traction.A more powerful opportunity would be to run a lobby with Port power brokers to run a counter membership to Port.
Essentially instead of becoming Port members, become Port NewCo members. By February, it would force the SANFL and AFL to sit around the table and discuss the license and board issue.
Taking back our club from the SANFL is a must.
