I just think guys like Butler, Kennedy, Schofield even Scooter Selwood and NicNat will have to be given a run by then because of their WAFL form. That is unless we win the next 7 straight.

Geez that Mark Harvey looks like he could snap at any minute and stab you... I hope that he instills some of that obvious fire behind the eyes into his charges on the field. They wouldnt get as much bad press if they just played like they wanted to win (kill you) at least.

How long has it been since there was no changes?? Good message for the coaches to send to the team, and anybody hoping to break into it. I rekon it will remain unchanged bigburger (injury permitting) for as long as those players remain competetive, we live in the real world though and of course injuries and bad form will hit a few meaning players that you have mentioned will get a crack.

I dont think that anyone will be put in purely on good WAFL form though unless a player is seriously underperforming at AFL level or is injured.

Or maybe the fact that he was or close to BOG for Peel last week means he is some kind of form?

I think Will Schofield will (excuse the pun) become a very good player in the future and I hope he stays at West Coast. As regards to the team not being changed, according to the club website it is the first time since rounds four and five in 2007. It shows how chaotic last year was and unlike the real West Coast Eagles.

For those wanting to know how Schofield went in the WAFL last weel Waterman played him as a forward and he kicked 3 goals - Had a run thrrough the middle aswell - Was bloody impressive i thought.

Deserved the emergency call up.

That does sound impressive.

It's been a while since I've seen him play, but from memory he's pretty lanky. Is that still the case, or has he filled out a bit?

Hes put on a bit of muscle - Still pretty tall and lanky but not as much as last year.

Seriously Schofield has a massive tank on him - And always chases and tackles and looks to get involved in the play - Love watching him play....And hopefully we get to see more of him in Eagles colours for many years to come :thumbsu:

When was the last time we didnt make a change?

I reckon it would have to be at least 2006 sometime....

On paper, this side is capable of making finals.

I have no doubt about that.

The key for us, as with every team outside the top two, is keeping our stars on the park and getting contributions from the last 5-6 players picked each week.
