Gunners is such class and an absolute champion. But can't help feel a bit annoyed that a 33 year old veteran almost single handely held together our forward line.

First half was woeful.
Second half much better but left it too late.

First time in the season our bottom 6 didn't hold up. Chol, Finn, Ginni, Ward, Morrison etc had poor games. They got exposed hard when our mids didn't fire.

Lick our wounds and move on.

Better than usual:

Gunston

Good as usual:

Meek, Dambrosio, Mackenzie, Bruest, Newcombe

Tried hard but colours lowered a little:

Moore, Ginnavan, Barras

Everyone else need to lift

Got jumped coming off the bye and Port were at full strength and ready to go- we weren’t and couldn’t match their intensity…

Felt eerily similar to the semi final in the areas we fell down… smashed in the middle and lack of a tall forward…

It’s a worry with Day out of the side- really throws off our midfield mix- feel we are one quick classy mid short…
In high pressure games like this the lack of a key forward really comes through- Chol was poor but really didn’t stand a chance…

Glad we kept it respectable in the 2nd half- Gunston and Bruest came through but lots to work on and harbour to think we’ll be premiership favourites anymore…

We are Ports fluffy bunny play toy. They absolutely have a ball toying with us. We were terrified from the first bounce.

Same old faces absolutely dominated us and played their best games of the year against us - JHF; Rioli; Georgiades.

Not much to say about us. Port are bigger tougher and more ferocious.

Glad we hung in to only lose by 30 and not 100 like it was looking early on.

Who knows what next week brings, at this stage it doesn’t bode well.

Worpel limping off is an indictment on the medical team. Watched the incident again, no contact to his ankle whatsoever, just wasn't fully healed. Leaves us up shit creek for next week.
You’d want to know what the exact injury is before you go throwing around allegations of staff negligence.
