Chucking this in here because there is no other appropriate thread...

With Vince likely to go to Fyfe this weekend (and all the luck to him) I am hoping that the tactics used, similar to those on show against Dangerfield, won't flare up Nat's temper to the point of mindless retaliation. Might be a good test for how well he can manage such attention.
Reckon Fyfe is harder to tag given he wins almost 10 clearances a game as well as his ability to bring his opponent up forward making it bloody difficult to beat in the air. I'm confident Nat will be ultra sensible this season..

I doubt Vince will go to Fyfe with any sort of hard tag. At most it'll be more comparable to Vince's on Cotchin last week - I fully except Fyfe to towel us, and I'm sure Roos will be focusing more on how to curb how influential his disposals are rather than shut him out of the game completey.

Don't take anything we say on the Demons board seriously either, basically every second post is tongue in cheek - we're just excited to be playing competitive football again.

I'm hoping for a good contest, being a Perth boy born and bred I have quite a few friends who are dockers fans and have developed a bit of a soft spot for them (much moreso than those weagle flogs). I really hope you lot can make the breakthrough this year, September in 2013 was a surreal time to be living in the west (y)

Would probably do a better job.

We'd be the most temperamental coach ever :P

We'd have a solid win - but the following week would see 4 changes anyway after someone tears it up in the WAFL. If we happen to lose, we'd drop 12 players and do the same. We'd also not care about any specific roles a player might be given, only judge them on their number of disposals, and instantly drop them should they make a clanger that we notice on TV :P

After 4 wins in a row, we'd be convinced we will win the next 8. The second we lose a game however, we'd be convinced we're too old, too slow, and need to play the youth.

I may be shot for saying this, but I would swap Chopper with Duffy, for now at least. Duffy is more natural forward and he makes our forward loine more potent.
Chops needs to work on his goal kicking.

Well you definitely want your forward loine to be potent!

Chops also does the team thing, and is unselfish. His work on the wings is great and he rarely drops a mark under pressure (except when he launches himself on top of people's heads - really wish he'd have clunked that).

Haha.
Let the cobblers do the cobbling and sit back and watch the squabblers do the squabbling.

Looks like it's between Clancee and Gu if 3 are omitted off the interchange... Both would be very unlucky especially Clancee

Do we read into anything that ballas is named on the extended bench?

Going to be tough for whoever comes out.

Do they usually have just the one travelling emergency?
