LOL @ Morton as a emergency. He has more talent in his left eyelid then the likes of Pettifer Polo and Tambling combined. If you think hes gonna be a emergency dont expect him to be at the Tiges next year. He left us to play 22 games

You guys are in deep trouble... only team line up that's worse is Essendons. Wallace better have some world class tactics to go with it if you guys are going to avoid the spoon.

Defence - We have Carroll who never concedes a big bag. Holland always does the job on the 'gorilla foward. Rivers is a premium defender. Petterd won a NAB rising star nomination in second game. Whelan is one of the best small defenders in the comp - when injury free.

Midfield - Jones, McLean, Mcdonald (AA) and Bruce form a formidable midfield with Moloney Sylvia and Dunn to be thrown in as second rotation. Green is a high possession classy sweeper at half back or wing while Wheatley is a winger that can be used to break the flood as he is one of the AFL's longest kickers. Jeff White is Victoria's best ruckman while John Meeson, a former first rounder who has been injured and unfairly overlooked by Adelaide will relieve him.

Forward - Still one of the AFL's most dangerous foward lines. A fit Neitz at full foward is good for 4 goals a game while Robbo is hard to contain at the best of times and will always kick 3-4 and often 6-7. Bate is the perfect modern day foward with sticky hands and kicks 55 meter goals with minimal effort. Then you have Sylvia who is one of the best overhead grabs in the AFL for a 6 footer and is the ultimate x-factor. Can be thrown onto the ball for immediate impact. Davey is all class, the Kangaroos would dearly love him. Newton could be anything...he's already taken mark of the year and kicked 3 goals in his second game. Finally Miller starts at CHF as the go-to guy, but Newton may pass him in the pecking order.

Pretty bloody good side if you ask me. But I don't care if teams under-estimate us. It just means we'll catch teams like the Kangaroos off guard.

PS - I somehow forgot McLean. This is now edited to reflect him in the side.
You've set him up to kick 60-80 goals. Will not happen and you know it. Good on you for believing in your team but Robertson kicking over 60 goals would be a massive achievement. Miller at CHF? When will Melbourne learn? He is a dud and isnt up to it.

ShinSplints, who are the backup key defenders?? cos hudgeton, kosi and goose will struggle to play 30 games between them...

Goddard coming back from a knee reco, gilbert and fisher are quality though

good midfield, ball needs to step up though

Take Judd, Fev, Scottland and Stevens out of your line up and it doesn't look that great either mate. I hope for your sake Judd wins alot of the ball because your defense is likely to be leaking like a bucket with a hole in it.

Is that so.

Tell us your star-studded backline that will be able to contain the likes of Richo, Brown, Polak, Pettifer, Morton and Deledio.

Hint: Chris Judd is playing midfield.

Ugh that midfield makes me want to vomit. If you had that midfield fixed itd be a VERY good side. Great forward line and defence.

P.S Wheres Gumbleton

midfeild is developing.... the improvement of winderlick will continue as well as the 2006 draftees... its obvious our midfeild is the very poor but heres to hoping the 2006 super draft comes good..

gumbelton is an interesting one id like to see him given as much game time as possible and i think we will see that but his just had a minor tear to his hammy which will delay his preseason for about a month, we might see him come in after a few rounds

Richmond's line up really does look shocking.

Will need to somehow pull a huge year out of a 33 year old Richo or pray that Deledio takes a massive step if they want to avoid bottom 2-3.

That Richmond side is a joke. Surely they have some better players than that. There are 12-15 genuine spuds in that team.

How has Wallet got away with the last 3 seasons. It is a disgrace.

Max - Kosi - Hayes - Reiwoldt - Gehrig goal line????

come on dont be silly you know its an awesome team one of the best in 2008. easily top 4 and you know it.

Saints have a chance this year im excited its not a demon year but dont worry with this draft proccess everyone gets their chance.

Hahaha.

Why dont you name the 12-15 Spuds for us buddy boy.

I also believe that group of Spuds is the same group of Spuds that spanked Essendon in their most important game of the year. :thumbsu:

lets compare forward line then? or backline? seeings our side is so much worse then yours how come we have a forward line and a backline that would shit all over yours...

you only have a midfeild... and one that is hardly developed yet.... your jsut as likely for the spoon as richmond..

judd wont solve your problems

FB: Thornton O'hAilpin Grigg
HB: Scotland Waite Walker
C: Simpson Carrazzo Gibbs
HF: Murphy Fisher Hadley
FF: Houlihan Fevola Betts

R: Hampson Judd Stevens

INT: Armfield Bentick Jamison Cloke

Ressies: Kreuzer Hartlett Blackwell

Now that is a top drawer team.

well robbo kicked 42 goals in 15 games this year and that was playing on an injured knee so i think he could easily kick 60 goals next year.....

It's down right awful. Looks exactly like a reigning spooner and spoon favourite team should look. Your namesake Tambling is a dud. McGuane, McMahon (soft as butter) Tuck, Johnson, Pattison, Raines...YUK! Schulz at FF. Surely he has to be playing VFL this year if you wish to finish 15th.

Goddard coming back from a knee reco, gilbert and fisher are quality though

good midfield, ball needs to step up though

mate Kosi played 20 games this season (only missed 2 through suspension). Hudghton just needs a FULL Pre-Season under his belt. Goose will only get better. Sam Fisher + Gilbert are Stars!

Goddard should be good to go come Rd1.

IMO Ball with have a great year after shaking off the OP. Judd will struggle

that has been a problem for the saints but kosi is as fit as ever no reason to suggest he'll go down. Sam fisher and Maguire are big enough to play KPP. Dempster was drafted for this purpose. Jason Blake is another great option one of the best taggers at 190cm wont stop running EVER.

An exciting year for the saints anythuing could happen with some luck on the injury front i dare say the saints will be up there one would think.
