Really worried about these Russell to GWS rumours.
Thought he played well enough last week to be retained for this weeks game.
Will be a loss if he does indeed go.
Plus that Waite has OP
The club are not being loyal to the supporters claiming its the hip.
Out for the year
Ounce again lets hope everything I have heard is incorrect!

If he was to leave it would be SPECTACULAR news for the club. We have three players who can play his exact role at the moment and the compensation (2nd in our B&F and a former first round draft pick) would be great.
I pray that he's gone.

Again Russell will stay... not too sure how many times this has to be said.

Yes fair chance. But I would think that Mitchell would be at the Hawks next year 2 months ago, but sometimes, just sometimes where there is smoke there is fire(is that the saying)???
I like Russell and always thought he would get it right. But imagine finishing near the top in 2012 and knowing we are about to get a potential number 1 pick.
It would be a nice feeling...![]()

For those that didn't see, I asked Marty Pask (his player manager) after an interview I did a couple of weeks ago. He says the rumours are crap and had no idea where they had come from.Russell is CONTRACTED.
So therefore he can't of been signed by GWS, as that would require he be UNCONTRACTED. He can be traded but we would request way over what they would reasonably be willing to give.
Some interesting developments on the Bucks, Malthouse & Ratts saga...
Mick Malthouse is definitely gone from Collingwood next year. There is no chance he will fulfill any roll at Collingwood. Bucks can't stand him and doesn't want him at the club in any shape or form.
Now like i said i have heard that both we were no longer interested in Mick and that Ratts was definitely staying, and now this from someone else who would know a thing or two about this situation. Someone close to the Collingwood family.
Should we lose this weekend Ratt's is definitely gone and Mick will be on board next year.

Interesting, but let's ask this question: Would the fans really Malthouse?
My vote wouldn't count for much, but I wouldn't.
It brings into question another thing.
Is the board awaiting something of this nature to occur, for them to justify their decision?
Anyway, just a rumour. Right?![]()
