No effect on finals, but what happened at Black Rock. 40 scoring shots to 10? Also well down to Cerberus on a great game. Played in great spirit, accept for number 60. How no. 60 got named best on, i will never no. Put your fists away and actually go for the footy! Great buch of blokes though.

Mount to beat Sandown next week and Skye to beat Canterbury, lifting the Yarras to 6th spot after the Bye. Some way off finals, but encouraging for next year and our highest ladder spot. Wins over 6 of 8 other teams as well. We're peaking at just the right time for finals - except that we're not in them...

Blac04 you must feel like a tough guy abusing and accusing number 9 of Skye being soft while you where on the bench. One of the weakest things in football is abusing ppl over the line.
The guy has 2 cracked ribs and suffered internal bruising. Look forward to seeing you in the finals where we will see who really is the soft one.

aahhhh pat!! about 2-3 mins earlier i was sent off with the blood rule after copping a couple of punches to the head in a tackle!! didn't cry like a fool though! the thing that got me was he went down moaning louder than my wife in labour, once the trainers arrived he got to his feet and wanted to stay on the ground. this was all while we won the footy only to have the umpire stop play because of no.9 lying on the ground moaning!! was a little disappointed with him that's all! had i known the extent of his injuries i probably wouldn't have said anything. hope he is well and with a bit of luck we will get another crack at you blokes in the finals!!

Here are my tips for the last round of the home & away season:

MOUNT WAVERLEY to beat sandown cobras - I am biased of course. Even though sandown are obviously playing into some good form in smashing black rock last week who I rate quite highly. It will be a close game.

CANTERBURY to beat skye - This is my upset of the round.
I've heard skye have some key injuries, and canterbury have a quality senior side which could filter down to their reserves side.

DANDY DEMONS to beat cerberus - Dandy will be just too good for the navy boys and will be hurting from the close loss from last week, and they will want to finish their season on a high.

DOVETON to beat black rock - I think doveton will beat black rock due to black rock being down on form and doveton playing some alright footy, even though losing to skye by 10 goals, skye are just in a league on their own.
