Thats a shame as he is an exciting player. Looks like we may have another Rusling on our hands. Potential to boot but injury prone. DAMN

Bugger! He really adds X factor to our team, will be missed.

Saw him out with some other players on Friday night and gave him shit for drinking cocktails with Leon, wish I found out then.

No! Damn, that really sucks. I was hoping for a big year from Dick, oh well here's hoping he recovers well and is up and ready by May.

It is terrible news but I'm not sure whether it really changes the make up of the team too much. IMO it just means that we play Leon closer to goals more which is OK since we have Ball included now who can free up Pendles to play slightly more outside.

A big shame but but not the end of the season.

I just hope that this isnt a sign of things to come.

F**K i dont know who is gonna replace him that brings so much excitement and unpredictability in the side. Big Loss he plays with so much passion for the club lets hope its not the start of shoulder injuries for him.

Bad luck to young Brad, was a real highlight of our year last year.

Hopefully he returns as good as ever in May (May 2nd is round 6), and he doesn't miss a lot of football.

It sounds like a significant injury, but one that once repaired should see him able to play out the 2010 season without a problem.

Sounds very innocuous the way this all happened, meaning he probably hurt it late in the season and it flared up again in Arizona.

Positives are it is not season ending, and it also gives someone else the opportunity to press their claim for the forward pocket position.

Leon Davis back to the forward pocket temporarily maybe? With Ball, Buckley, Jolly, Beams, Sidebottom and MaCarthy all added to our midfield, maybe Leon can fill the gap until Brad returns, also allowing Leon to be "fresher" come September.

Yeah, was it the Richmond game where he hurt it?

Forgot about that, remember him going off in a game late in the season, don't know if it was the Richmond game, but it was at the G, so it may well have been.

Means he too had an injury in September to contend with, wow, how did we actually beat Adelaide with the team we had.

i just hope it doesnt get him to down and the home sickness returns, he has a heap of talent and i reckon he'll end up as one of the best smallish fwds going around if he has luck with injurys.

I'm so sick and tired of the most exciting players getting injuries and not small injuries. This is the part of the season I hate the most when it comes to injuries. You just expect someone to hurt themselves badly eg. Rodan and Otten. ****ing really hate this part of the year.

yep, shes a fickle game, i can just see it, now that the prophecys about to be forfiled and the promised lands aproaching bloody injurys will $#@% us up.

apparantly it isnt a football injury though, word has it that when the players regrouped after the break they were sitting down for a spot of lunch and brad grabbed the last chicken nugget on the plate, shannon cox had his eye on that nugget and when he tryed to rest from dicks hand and dick dislocated his shoulder, thats why cox was sacked.

Devo, I hate it when players go down at this stage of the season (Rodan and Otten) it is tragic news.

As for Dicky it is going to be tough because with a shoulder injury there isn't much he can do gym/running wise. Hopefully he lights up the second half of next year!

Looks like we lost our Dick for the first half of the season.

But fear not, for we will forever be Jolly. :thumbsu: With Ball and Goldy and St Kilda without, there is no question as to who is without

That sucks, and unfortunately we're not well equipped to cover his position. Bennell has returned to WA and our best small forward option in the VFL at this stage is Luke Rounds. I am a Rounds fan but I don't think he's ready.

Maybe Leon will push closer to goal, but I think he's better served in midfield these days.

davis can pinch hit as well as didak, hopefully medders gets back to form, if he does i dont see a problem, maybe try one of the kids there as well.
