I didn't defend that, nor will I, but someone can make a 'mistake' and if that mistake didn't involve doing something illegal it'd be a pretty hard thing to judge him by. Was it reckless? Yes. He's just doing what most other guys his age would do.

You can't just dismiss all the good he has done based on one incident, especially one so minor as that.

I'd be disappointed if one of our 24/25 y.o. leaders of the club did something like that, wasn't just "normal" water skiing doing flips and hand stands is risky behaviour on the eve of JLT.

You were the one that brought up that he was "mature beyond his years".

I genuinely would have preferred him in the side this week as you have an abundance of slow mids, Robbie on the other hand - bloody glad he is out.

But I'm not gonna dwell on it and use it to forever tarnish the opinion I have on him. If that's his biggest mistake in his footy career he'd be better than most.

Would not have thought that at the start of the year. More so with CEY.

CEY has improved his fitness base massively. He was running in quicksand for most of last year. This year much more agile.

The pair really complement each other.

Yep CEY was a write off for me but he is slowly getting there. By end of year I expect he will be at a consistently high level. Like Jenkins, do we need Gibbs anymore?

I think we can live with Jenkins not being best 22 and playing SANFL. His salary is not massively high and somewhat palatable. He could also be traded.

Gibbs is expensive in terms of both salary and the trade. Seeing him play SANFL for long spells is too much if a wasted resource. He ain't leaving Adelaide so won't be traded out to cut salary.

You're right it wont tarnish him forever but you stated he was professional and mature beyond his years less than 6 months after this incident.

Bit of a stretch making that claim at this stage.

They are 6 of our starting 18, whilst most supporters have moved Sauce and Douglas on, unfortunately the AFC selection committee have them firmly entrenched in our best 18.

I really feel who ever kicks straight will be the winner.

I reckon our backs can manage anything currently , Robbie Gray in form maybe not but that’s not a concern this time

I said 8 previously and I am happy to keep it at that but my wallet has also had a flutter at 15.5+ . I dont expect a big blowout by either team. 1-4 goals in it

Need guys with intensity in showdowns like Knight but I’d pick Jones and or Mchenry over Knight

But I definitely wouldn’t play Gibbs after last week
