Shapes as if Celtic or Rangers will need an astronomical amount of points to win the league this year.

It will get tougher when the fixtures start banking up and the weather deteriorates but at the moment the 5 sub rule is just brutal for the little teams.

Ange just subs half the team off at the hour and goes again with fresh players.

Lots of Aussies scattered around the league now.

Would of been an interesting appointment. The cost of buying an attached coach was rumoured to be an issue within the club (fan owned). There have also been some issues within the first team between the former coach and the players, Hammell seems to have alleviated that while he was interim manager.

Kilmarnock were terrible last night. Massive gap between top two and the rest. Motherwell were knocked out of Euro qualifies by Sligo Rovers!! Embarrassing
Always a large gap between old firm and the rest. They have too much resources compared to the rest. with the spfl, for most the benchmark isn't winning the comp (although would be amazing if it did happen). It's about qualifying for Europe and staying up, making the top 6 by the time they split the comp.

The motherwell coach was sacked/resigned straight after that game and seemed to have lost the dressing room. Will be interesting to see how they go over the season.

Important 1-0 win for County this morning against Kilmarnock. Had a player sent off with 10 to go but still managed to score the winning goal with a few minutes to go. The win helps the Staggies jump from 12th to 9th.

Hate Celtic, but pretty incredible that it was 1-0 at 39 minutes (with Middleton desperately close to equalising at 32) to 4-0 at half time to 7-0 before the hour mark. Rangers will probably go to Tannadice and scrape a draw later in the season. Celtic’s gd and Rangers’ slip up at Easter Road means the OF next week could prove pretty pivotal despite it being this early in the season. Rangers wouldn’t want to be 5 points behind this time next week.

Of always is important.

Dundee united have been beyond s**t this season.

I feel a little better about the Staggies 3-1 loss to Celtic a few weeks ago, at least we scored a goal.:)

We lost 4-0 to Rangers on the weekend, not a great result but was expected, we still haven't beaten Rangers in a league game.

A loss puts them 5 points adrift

EPL will be calling soon. Will he make the step down ?

I reckon he will.

It would be a massive opportunity to manage in the PL, especially as the first Australian to do it. And if it doesn’t work out in the PL, I reckon Celtic would be a job he can eventually go back to.
