Need more comments on Steven's game clinching 'soccer' goal. It looks sort of random in real time, but the amount of skill and composure that sort of kick takes in heavy traffic with the game on the line is unreal.

Neroli Meadows on AFL Tonight just said that Hawkins was an absolute superstar tonight with 3 goals and would've had more if not for 'controversial umpiring decisions' in the 4th quarter.

Funny as part of the 'select' highlights package they didn't show the push on Delaney that he marked for one of his goals.

If the Roberton one was a free so was that.

Yeah it's magnificent. 6 games against bottom 8 teams from here, plus North at Etihad if memory serves. The ceiling is a dozen wins, which would be brilliant.

Seriously great effort tonight.
Especially loved Delaney and Wright's efforts - backs against the wall with the careers on the line, and they just muck in and do it.
I am seriously staggered that there are Geelong people who think that they copped the rough end of the stick with the umpiring. I do not know what game they were watching.

Exciting run home. I really want to win against the Tigers though - their supporters are the most feral in the AFL (worse than the Pies IMO)

Joey and Roo - normal service for them - played really well

Ross Weller and Steven can split the BOG. My gosh how huge did they play.
Best team effort ive ever seen from such an inexperienced side.

Jack Steven is the most exciting player in the league to watch. He always gives what appears to be the impossible a go, most of the time it doesn't come off but when it does it's effing amazing. It's like he has fully incorporated the Gretzky motto into his game
