Looking more and more likely for this week and finals we will be without Roo, Macca, Hart, Burton and Trent.

No more negativity from me. As much as our current predicament bites to the core I’m going to enjoy every minute of our last few games regardless of the result. This club has given Mrs Choke and I some exhilarating moments at times throughout this year. Even in reflection, players who I questioned on Sunday (Doughty, Reilly, Biglands, Thommo etc), have at times played out of their skin and at times have given 110%.

These next few weeks will sort the man from the boys, both from within the AFC and amongst the BigFooty supporterbase.

If you jump off or become overly critical in the next few weeks you are no better than the fickle, fair-weathered mob from down the road IMHO.

Well said Spring Choke. The Crows have given supporters some great moments over the year and I will be satisfied with the season whatever the outcome...although I will be still hoping to be in the play-off on that one big Saturday.
You will get the knockers who say that it is a premiership or nothing but I think it is a matter of getting the best out of the players that you have.
Supporters can be a fickle lot however and that is why these postings evoke such passion....often from people who have underchieved in life but still love to knock their own team.
I still think we have a good range of players that will do us proud over the finals series.

I will be there with bells on (100% record for the last 4 years), clubs need loyal supporters anytime and especially during the hard times (like now).

Even if god forbid we crash out in our 2 finals, i will be the 1st to renew my membership next year.

I wish i could but the bank account says insufficient funds
I will be watching it on the tele (hopefully fox coz my win has terrible reception) in my crows clothes and scarf and hat etc and will no doubt lose my voice again and have the fiancee leave the house because he cant handle my screaming and carrying on. I have been so annoyed by our form lately and very upset by our injuries but the reason i love footy so much is just by watching it, not if my team wins the premiership or anything, its just me watching it. So at least we have 2 more games and maybe 3 to watch our team play then the bottom 8. My partner is a Carlton supporter and he never complains about his team and i always am so i think im just gonna shut the mouth now and enjoy the games we have left!!! Hope you all go on Saturday and scream your f***ing lungs out!!!!!!

Me, I wouldn’t miss it for anything, and I have already informed my boss (who is a Port Adelaide supporter) that I will be late next Monday as I have to get finals tickets for the mighty Adelaide Crows.

Then I asked him who Port Adelaide was likely to be playing in the finals this year and he just didn’t say anything.

This is potentially going to be the first game I have been to in 5 years without my dad or sister or Fiancée or family friends or anyone else who tends to come along to the football

No time for soft ***** now, either you stand up and are counted and support this football club or you **** off and support someone else.

I am not going try and tell everyone that they have to turn up this week (next week, we need 50, 000) because some people just cannot make it but to whom ever does go, make sure you are there for the real reason. Make sure you bring your voice and make a stand because the next 4 week we are going to fight like there is not tomorrow.

Thats exactly what i was thinking, we arent the premiership favourites anymore so we dont have the added pressure. all we want is a win and we will go out there and show them that we dont rely on one (or 2,3,4,5 great players).
