I thought you said that a team result isn't a measure of an individual performance. Now you're using it as a justification for why Richo was better than Brown. But I don't have a problem with that. Players that are involved in teams that win should be credited for their teams success.

It's one thing to lead your side to victory as Richo more or less did that night, it's quite another to be a bit player or a passenger - and then be given full credit as a bonafide co-author of victory.

For instance, Andrew McLeod's Premiership Medal is worth a fair bit more than Aaron Keating's. Michael Voss' is worth a fair bit more than Aaron Shattock's, and so on.

OK. Our point of difference then is that I think Brown is an integral part of the Lions team and you think he is a passenger (or a bit player). I'm not sure how to show you otherwise, so we might have to agree to disagree (again:p).

Now now, don't put words in my mouth.

Never said he wasn't an integral part of the team - was just defining my opinion on how much you can put a side's success down to the individual.

Hence it's pretty bloody silly to argue Aaron Keating is a better ruckman than Jim Stynes because Aaron has a Premiership Medallion and the Irishman doesn't - Shaun Rehn on the other hand you could argue because without him it's doubtful the Crows would've got anywhere near September, let alone back to back flags.

But we're off track. Just on the Richo/Brown comparison earlier, the crux of my point was not so much the fact Richo went home a winner but that his kicking was a key reason for it. Brown was wayward and booted 2.3, Richo was straighter and kicked 4.1 - what was the margin in the end? A couple of goals? There's the difference.

Bradshaw goes alright too.

We won at the GABBA in 2001 by a couple of points and Brisbane didnt lose another game that year i think.

Yep that's right.... we actually won TWICE in 2001, once in the pre-season by 3 pts and the second time in the season proper by 1! I remember those games like they were only yesterday.... my son was just 2 weeks old at his first game of footy:D (the season proper) .

It is without a doubt our best opportunity to win here. Bradshaw is out, Charman is out and Browny got a bit of a concussion last week (but I am sure he will play). The only problem is if our guys come with that mentality (like they did against Richmond - turn up and you win type of thing).

I am SO excited I can hardly sleep! :D
