Jseus if they're playing Cookie thay may as well play Parks as well and send them both off.
I really hope those emergencies become late inclusions!

I'm with you. I think there would be something very Dockers about playing a guy with hamstring injury who can't run. But honouring him anyway.

I can't wait until the end of this game when we win by 30 points and we all stand and applaud them as they go off.

win/ loose or draw - the Cookie Monster is going to get a rousing cheer - and he should.
That may also apply for Macca & Belly and I guess for Parker in his absence.

Well - if we can get that KPP Fullback for him I would be happy - where one is to be found... I do not know.

Believe me, I think the kid as a lot of talent and I said this a few months back, he is the kind of player that will probably end up with the Western Bulldogs and kick 40 in his first season and everyone will laugh at us for giving him up. I wouldn't be giving him up for nothing, but unfortunately his trade value has probably suffered hard this year..... if he goes I get the feeling will be getting shafted.

Didn't realise the Twig of Integrity had tweaked a hammy!
Wheel the old bugger out anyway, he can alternate as a FP and a BP each quarter, that way he wont get the wheel chair bogged going from end to end.:thumbsu:

Big carr should've gone for Op weeks ago did Foster/Byron game time.

I'm happy he played while we were still in the hunt for finals. Don't give the season away before you have to.

Cookie - good
Murphy - would have left him in to see something/anything!!!
Macca - if continuing in 08 then rest for younger player
Parks - like to see play even if on one leg. He is an original and sad to see him go without one more game.
If Blacky/Hase/Wiz not 100% leave them out
Bring in Dunn (try to see him while uninjured), Foster, Ibbo.

Didn't do the sums to see if I have 22.

Doesn't matter whether we win or lose no-one will remember the result next year.

Harvey in the Worst said we will field the best side because they owe it to the members. Well this member would rather lose and play some youngsters!

How about Ryan Murphy the full back? Not like he hasnt played there before, might be worth a proper shot.

Matt Carr season done immediately, getting adductor surgery.

I have got to say i am very disapointed with the team
Foster should be playing

Do not be surpised if Headland has a worst on ground performance because his confidence will probably be down

ryan murphy 2006 22 goals 8 behinds
chris tarrant 2007 32 goals 26 behinds ,god knows how many out of bounds on the full,
dont get me wrong i love the way taz attacks and wins the ball but he cant kick for shit, play him up the ground a bit further and give murph enough game time to get his form up,

One would suspect that, failing a 10 goal haul this weekend, Ryan Murphy has played his last game at Freo.

I reckon the fact that he has been dropped increases the likelyhood that he'll stay. If we were selling him it would be smart to leave him on display to attract more customers.

Tarrant needs a couple of big games. If he ends up with less than 40 goals that is a massive underachievement.

The forward line is not the issue. We have kicked the 3rd most goals in the comp with a suspect midfield and I don't have the stats in front of me but I am pretty sure our inside 50s would be pretty low comparitively. Tarrant has been a big reason for that. Our forward line has looked really dangerous all year.

Our forward line isn't a concern going forward, but surely 32 goals in 20 games is disappointing? Tarrant was brought in as the missing piece to bring us a flag. He had to either be a big contributor in September or kick a lot of goals. I would have considered 45 goals with a couple of bags of 4 or 5 a good return on our investment.

Peter Bell has kicked almost as many goals as Tarrant.

Your view on it is too black and white.

Our forward line imo has been excellent all season. Tarrant is a major part of the forward line. So what if he has kicked 8 to 10 goals less than expected???

The team is still kicking goals and really effective in its forward entries. Tarrant handballed to Pav in the goalsquare last week... who cares who is credited for the goal?? Tarrant has also contributed a lot of goals through his work on the HF line and defensive pressure in the F50.

Who here really thought Tarrant would kick more than 40 goals this year? He is bang on what I thought he would do, having a great year.

Why would you trade a first round pick and 2 players to secure a forward who won't kick 2 goals a game? I reckon you set the bar way too low, if he is having a great year how many games has he been in our top 3 or 4 players?

A 26 year old on the money he is getting and conisdering what we gave up for him should be in our top few players each week. His best games haven't reached any great heights and have been few and far between. Has done little in the last 4 or 5 weeks when we needed him to stand up and play a big part in our finals push.

1. Tarrant was never going to be a FF so 2 goals a game on average is asking way too much from a HFF.
2. He was injured and had surgery in the pre-season.
3. His defensive pressure has easily been out best.

I seriously think he has done what most people expected of him.
