they must've had some mail that someone else was keen to take him before your pick 28. I've seen a bit of Boekhurst and he'll be alright but it does seem a strange call. I said that about us taking Ballantyne at 20 a few years back and am now happy with that.

I agree, it was so far out of leftfield that it confused me especially as I kept waiting to hear Laverde's name called out.

If he turns out to be a 150-game player then he's a sensational pick-up but right now, it has all the makings of another Lucas-Talia scenario which hurt us badly.
