???

Ginbey was trying to push him off the line, as happens in every single marking contest. Unfortunately, Lalor crashed into Brock's back.

Hopper pushed Day square in the back deliberately so he'd smash into his teammate.

They aren't even remotely similar.

Get yourself into Specsavers quicksmart because Ginbey 100% shoved Lalor into that contest, resulting in a fractured jaw.

So no weeks? All clear play on?
Yes.

Football incident but fair enough if they want to review this and stamp it out in future, which I imagine they will.

Based off precedent(Maynard), the AFL shouldn't punish Ginbey for a rule that doesn't exist. If they want to introduce a new rule as a result of this incident, I have no issues with that.

You can't punish a bloke for a nonexistent rule though, when every other time it's happened the player in question have gotten off.

Because he was pushed into Brock, it's hard to stop when someone is pushing you forward. It's simple physics

I don't think you understand physics if you think that 'push' from Ginbey was the catalyst for the collision when he was already going fast and was late to the contest to begin with.

I won't argue that Ginbey forward momentum would've contributed but this happens at every contest when blokes are engaged with each other whilst attempting to get tot eh ball.

Lol you aint coming across to bright. I have seen it multiple times he pushes him deliberately into the contest how you cant see this beggars belief but hey you do follow the eagles so that explains your not so bright comments.

Well, considering Jack Riewoldt tunneled Barrass, broke his back and nearly ended his career and nothing was made of it, I find it a bit rich for Tigers supporters to now suddenly be up in arms over dangerous actions.

Also, one's outlawed by the tribunal(tunneling), the other isn't.

Did Riewoldt get punished?
I’ve made no comment on the Barrass-Riewoldt incident because I don’t recall it.

What I do find hypocritical is that you clearly would have liked to have seen Riewoldt suspended for causing a serious neck injury but don’t want Ginbey suspended for causing serious head trauma and facial injury. Interesting BZ.

lol it was the catalyst for the collision, if he didn't get pushed he wouldn't of collided with Brock. He wouldn't of even been in the contest, he probably wouldve run to the front of him and held him up and then stood the mark, like 90% of players do

Because Riewoldt intentionally tunneled Barrass, which is an offence you are supposed to be suspended for and pushing a bloke isn't.

Pretty simple difference, I'd have though.

Lol, Vic media garbage.

I guarantee you if it were reversed your Vic media darlings would've be running defence for Lalor.

It's happened enough over the years for it to be a given.

Bro **** vic media or whoever, Ginbey pushed him straight into the contest which caused his fractured jaw.
How you can't see this says a lot about you. I think you need to watch it again without the biased eagles glasses on.

I don't get why oppo fans don't understand if you start giving out suspension for things like this, your team will also lose more and more players to over the top reactions.

Settle down - put your rage aside - it's something that happens multiple times in every game.

If it was a eagle injured in the same circumstance I still wouldn't want to see any kind of suspension
So you’re fine with head trauma?

Yes, you got it.

If you can break someone's back by intentionally tunneling and have no case to answer for a clearly reportable offence, then a bloke accidentally pushing a bloke into someone running back with the flight can be safely ignored.
Hold on… was it a deliberate shove to push him off his line or an accidental push? You’re all over the place BZ.
