I was at the game. Don't know what the impression was watching on TV but in mens footy terms it was a 3 goal breeze that randomly turned into an 8 goal one at three quarter time. Didn't see what happened with hte running into goal and **** up at the end of the third but the last quarter our girls were amazing. ****ing gutted

I saw bits and pieces of the game tonight. Impressive pluck and determination from the girls, they fought tooth and nail to prevent that last goal but it was always going to be hard to keep them out for the full 7-8 minutes.

Once again, of course, it's the goal kicking. For a team with impressive field kicking skills, our goalkicking accuracy is criminally bad. I haven't watched enough of the AFLW season to know if it's technical issue, if they're kicking from too far out after shallow attacking entries, or if the wind is playing havoc with the ball (applies to many games at Casey too), but bloody hell they need to fix that next season. From my vague recollection it's cost us all three losses this year. Yuck.

Bad luck guys you deserved the win. Played brilliantly into the wind but couldn’t convert with it.

Umpiring was Bulldog favourable no doubt. Emma Kearney is a ducker but continues to be rewarded.

Can’t believe that bird missed from 5m out. Also Cunningham was completely useless. Dropped chestmark in the first quarter 15m out and literally did not have a stat!

With 1 minute to go at a stoppage I have zero clue how Brunton was left completely unchecked. You could see it a mile away.

So many little things the girls will no doubt mull over all year. I wish them all the best for next season.

Fox Sports has an article stating that our season relies on Collingwood beating Adelaide for us to play in the GF. How ironic that it has to be these two clubs for the girls. edit. But I have since read another article that says the girls are out. So 2017 mens.
