I really do not like HTB in AFLW. I get what they are trying to achieve but players are now to afraid to hold the ball in or take on the tackler. Just bobbles around or rolls out the back like a rugby scrum, and if it is moved forward it's like a rolling maul until someone disposes to someone out in space effectively

Think they've got a couple. But also think their style is very scrappy/contested. Prespakis and Nanscawen are good ballwinners but not super clean I'd say. Toogood a good forward but having to get up the ground a lot to find footy.

Yeah i think we've been a bit classier particularly with ball transition and kicking. But it's hard to find space in our backline, the ball has been living down there so Essendon are just camping defensively

Over 150 tackles in a dry game is pretty wild. Very contested and scrappy.
But good to get the win and more of a challenge for the team. Hore and Hanks pretty quiet too, good to see Fitzy, Chaplin etc really step up

Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our KPPs did well tonight, IMO. Fitzsimon continues to impress.
