Watched every game, put possession tally to show you why he got the votes he did, in nearly all of those games hes leading our inside 50's too.

1. You don't do the Brownlow Medal voting and number 2. Umpires don't have access to statistics to do their voting. So take your hand off it and go and troll somewhere else.

Thats actually quite uncanny that you (unintentionally?!) managed to post a tedious copy of another thread on such a specialised, unique topic.

He has been pretty dominant, but he faces the prospect of Judd, Cox, Fletcher and others, taking votes of him. And you are dealing with a factor more random that a menstrating womans mood, the umpires.

By the way Schammer is a gun, you were spot on about that at least. :D

Every player faces the prospect of other players stealing votes off them, though. If the player is good enough, he will poll votes no matter what. There aren't just the three or four players that you speak of who can take votes off Cousins - there are 43 other players in every game that can.

I don't see your point. Akermanis and Black managed to win their Brownlows in premiership seasons. They had members of the "awesome foursome" to contend with, and still managed to win Charlies. Yes, Cousins has teammates who will poll well, but it means nothing, because Cousins has been better than them all.

You agreed with my point in your first paragraph. And remember we're dealing with umpires here.

Dont count on him getting 22 at this point in time with the likes of Judd, Cox, Kerr etc etc stealing votes off him. And you don't know how umpires will vote sometimes, we all remember James Hird getting no votes against West Coast last year.

There is 10000-1 chance of Johnstone polling in that game...

as you can see he is a form and confidence player.
did nothin at all for the start, running into some form now, might play 1 or 2 more good games for the season.

Won't win the brownlow

having said that, stranger things have happend

Running into form means you would poll more in the second half of the year. Deeps you make no sense what so ever. Your illogical opinions are exactly that. Johnstone is probably one of the best pollers at melbourne. He was leading the brownlow a few years back at the half way stage. He can not even play well and get a vote so I guess thats why he is the second favourite for the brownlow.
