Terrible idea. He is not someone we would want at our club. Would only take game's & experience away from youngsters who will hopefully one day be part of a Melbourne premiership team.

LOL no.

Guys we are NOT desperate for a KPF! We aren't going to win a flag for at least 3-5 years, and we have so many good young forwards to develop!

This. No to Lynch for reasons stated. No to Anthony cos he's just not the contested marking forward that we need (if we need anyone). And a big no to Taylor Walker because his work ethic is lazy at best and he's basically useless as soon as the ball hits the deck.

I honestly believe that our forward line of Watts, Dunn, Jurrah, Petterd, Green, Sylvia, Bate, Wonna and co. will be able to kick a lot of very high scores over the coming years, particularly as the midfield skills develop and their bodies get bigger, which in turn will lead to us winning more midfield battles and having more (and better) entries inside our f50.

Although we do need to look at getting someone in who can help Jamar, and I guess the natural inclination is to want a player that can be effective resting up forward.

No, No ... Quinten Lynch was dropped after the first round. He was the West Coasts leading goal kicker in Round 1 in a loss to Brisbane in Brisbane.

After the first round match he had just equalled to Glen Jakovich's all time record for the most consecutive games for the West Coast Eagles.

For Round 2 he was dropped for no apparent reason. Worsfold said he had deficiencies in his game which he had had for a while. (presumable the same deficiencies as when he came runner-up in the clubs fairest + best award.

The media and the fans couldn't explain the dropping.

Then Lynch comes back with a lack of confidence and people wondered why. People were saying Worsfold must have been right.

Lynch gets the ball 19 times a game even in a "bad" year.

Sorry, I probably didn't word that right.

I remember the rumours at the time about him being dropped for talking to Gold Coast whilst on that trip to Queensland.

Either way, he didn't exactly dominate when sent back to West Perth - I'm sure if he was dominating he would've been back in the team by round 5 or so.

Plus, if his confidence gets dented that badly just from being dropped, you'd be asking questions given he's a senior player.

Maybe that's 'nuff said :D

IMO deffinately wouldnt be the answer...mckinnley, although smaller is a good contested mark and younger so i think he would be better suited...is on the small side for KPF

Can we please merge this with the David Hale threads?

I'm waiting with bated breath for the. "ZOMG Fev's been sacked. Lets draft him thread."
