It was a challenge for Serge, who was on the match committee back when SOS started. They managed. I'm sure he would have had a quiet word in SOS' ear about this kind of thing. From what I've heard, Serge wasn't one to shy away from hard chats.

Serge resigned from the match committee because of SOS, he completely removed himself from the COI

Interesting fish sees himself as a small forward
Works for me....
The interesting thing about it is that there were any number of posters thinking we could be in danger of losing him to WC because we refused to play him around the ball, and he wasn't happy about it.

On one hand, Fish had sindesmosis, and lost time gathering fitness; forward line was going to be his only go this year, given that injury. There's every chance he recognised this, and got on his bike to put that in the coach's heads good and early. And this press release is something CFC would want out there, because it keeps wagging mouths quiet with an official narrative.

On the other side, since Liddle took over - and this is not something that is much of a slight on him, given this is how a club's media department should behave - our releases to the press have been almost ubiquitously positive and accentuating maturity and growth coupled with bonding, subsuming identity to the club.

Hmmm...

I don't know if I buy it completely, but it's good to hear he's worked and working on his forward craft.

Well it came from Dyl’s (and friends) podcast so his comments weren’t “officially” from the club.

Fisher on a flank pushing up to the wing is where I would play him. I’d throw him in the odd centre bounce as well [emoji106]

If I hear the words ‘tight knit group’ one more time I swear to gawd.

Is frustrating.
But what they supposed to say.

I do get the impression they actually are, for once it's not just words, so there's that. But I do agree.

Sporting cliche's suck, only a lot.

I hope that too. That they all get along. As much as nessecary.

Ironically it’s the media wolves that force those safe phrases to the media’s disdain.

but stuff em

LMAO has anyone read this?

That backline would down shit creek without a paddle against WC and Richmond - any setup with more than a single KPF - and SPS is not a backman. Murphy on a wing could be interesting, but it's not a position that comes naturally to him, and it's a different style of position than the in/out midfielder which suits him more. He'd belong more on the HFF than he would the wing.

It's an interesting side - it's unconventional, which I like - but it's not built to win a game of AFL.

I really wish that they'd relearn how they put together highlights, because there's more to footy than goals and celebrations.
Like bickering on BF!
