It's so much better when there's a large number of opposing supporters to give a bit to and cop a bit from. It's the way suburban football used to be.
If you can't handle that sort of thing (and most of it is just in fun) then perhaps you should be doing other things with your time than going to football games.
Me thinks you've probably lived a rather sheltered life, too.
I agree that it's always a unique and enjoyable football experience to sit in a 50/50 crowd.....fires up both groups to support their team.
I disagree that you think it is OK to be physically touched or verbally threatened. Banter and barracking is fine.....but I always draw the line at touching......there's just no need.....
