This could catch on.

Stemming from our observation of Dean Bailey's super-cool demeanour on match day, my mate and I have decided that he should henceforth be known as The Iceman. We have been on the bandwagon for a while now, and have been surprised and disappointed at the lack of recognition of it from other Dees fans.

Nothing fazes him.

His poker face could freeze water.

His smile is famous only for its rarity.

He has been heard to remark "too much fun today... too much fun" about a training session (http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/tabid/8667/default.aspx#playvideo).

He laughs in the face of generic media questions - but only on the inside, for he is cagey - and then plays them with a dead bat that Rahul Dravid would be proud of.

He walks from the huddle to the boundary line as if he were ice-skating - calmly, smoothly and with no emotion.

Whether you like his methods or not, there is no doubting Bailey's coolness in the face of match-day pressure. Have a look next time you're at a Melbourne game.

The Iceman... it's going to be a thing.

On the off chance that we actually look like winning against Hawthorn I dare say Clarkson will be the fireman. Was not a happy camper at AAMI.

Fire & ice.

I don't know how he does it but I would be going nuts at the players ala RDB or Parkin.

I guess he must think that an outward display might stop him getting his point across or yelling & screaming might cause him to lose focus.
