Tassie get the new ball after 9 overs this morning and judging by the scores in this match it’s a tricky pitch to bat on

Whiteman got a ton (just) and Connolly might have had he not been chasing runs before running out of partners.

There’s been eight other batsmen dismissed between 30 and 55 suggesting it’s hard to get truly in on

Geez Cartwright has a horrible conversion rate after reaching 50.

Aim should be get the lead to 500 & then work out what to do next.

Cartwright, Hardie, Inglis & Connolly are all aggressive batsmen so if we don’t have a collapse you’d think we’d be around that mark by lunch.

Ideally then bat for another session with a lead around 600 & then declare.

Sets them 600 to get in around 4 sessions (120 overs). Plenty of time to bowl them out. Tassie will have a crack at the whatever they are chasing. You just have to being the final.

A draw just seems hollow to me.

Kinda want them to have a slog to move the game along. Tasmania won’t chase this down and I agree with those saying that winning outright will be a better outcome

Yeah something to work on in the off season....but really a fantastic debut performance from him

keep working on tightening his technique and keep working on his left armers.......can see a Jadeja clone in the future
