Can only consider Essendon 2000 or Geelong 2007 as genuine contenders to be honest. Both were miles in front of all opposition in those years.

It has to be Geelong, clearly the better ruck division as of right now as Ceglar will not return until later in the season.
Pittonet is a newbie, won't come into his own until he hits 24 or 25 years of age.

All comes down to Roughead for mind.
If he returns and only plays to 70% of what he was, it means Vickery and he can share ruck duties all the while playing forward as Rhys Stanley did and that puts Hawthorn's ruck division back on even terms with Geelong.

Of course, had they had Ceglar, their rucks are just more proficient in most aspects combined (marking, hit-outs, clearances) than what Stanley, Blicavs and Smith are.
