The 'Connect 2 Australians' XI
Bob Simpson
Bill Lawry
Don Bradman
Greg Chappell
Allan Border c
Keith Miller
Adam Gilchrist +
Alan Davidson
Shane Warne
Dennis Lillee
Glenn McGrath

This is the best AUS XI I could come up with where each member played at least 1 test with another member in the XI.
Bradman>Miller>Davidson>Simpson>Lawry>Chappell>Lillee>Border>Warne>McGrath>Gilchrist.
Lawry's final test was Lillee and Chappell's debut test allowing me to link the old generation to the modern.

There have now been twelve World Cups which of course gives us twelve World Cup Man of the Match recipients. Put them together and it makes a fairly strong team as all but one of them went on to have a solid Test career. Putting them into a batting order and deciding who is twelfth man is slightly tricky as there are two specialist wicketkeepers and most of the bowling strength comes from all-rounders but it would still be a powerful team.

Real life, England vs The Bs from 1810.
(John Wells was Billy Beldhams brother in law (also in the team), so close enough good enough presumably.)

Scorers obviously had trouble finding a place to notch the Strike Rate details on their sticks.

Charles Bannerman stiff, should be in ahead of Rudolph. Bruce Taylor probably deserves a spot as well, only player to score a century and take 5 wicket son debut.
