What? The AFLW people really complained about the fact the club already established 150 years of heritage before they even existed?

Thats the official story. I don't think its true. I think it was marketing hell bent on a homogenous 'precinct'

I wonder how much of this censorship is club directive vs marketing team narcissists.

This is the same crew who got the port club (formerly precinct, formerly port club) wall changed from photos of players to generic wharf pictures because the AFLW players complained it was just the mens side up there.

This and the whole ****ing naming of the precinct and long term deleting even slightly critical posts, the one word + 50 emoji social media posts and so on. This marketing team is clearly a bunch of insecure losers like Hinkley, Cornes, Davies et. al are.

Nothing will truly change at this club until the board is swept completely clean and attitudes change toward accountability as opposed to gaslighting dictatorship.

Remember the girl running marketing getting angry on Twitter that we were upset that they treated Atkins like a club legend and she was all like "hes a wonderful family man" or some fake ass marketing crap

The media team are way too matey matey with the players.

Yeah could definitely be a deeper colour, but no where near as bad as the 5AA image makes it look

I don't really have strong feelings one way or t'other about the kit, but for heaven's sake can we just **** agree what shade of teal/blue/green we are and stick to it? Every other team seems to manage this, it can't be that hard.

Surely our "brand manager" or whatever title we use understands the importance of a single identity? Every can of coke made anywhere in the world is the same red colour (in b4 REH schools me on an obscure vermilion variation used somewhere for cultural reasons ).
