It is an interesting suggestion as she does have noble ancestry (minus the grande chateau), it's an idea I will store away for later... maybe Xmas.

So my wife and I have been together for 10 years on GF day and I'm really struggling to think of a gift idea, and wether it's something just for her or for us both or for the house. I was making a big photo book of 10 years together then I discovered she was doing the exact same thing and was further down the road than I.

Are there any places you've visited together that hold great memories you could revisit? Can you get any of both your friends in the one place and make a romantic speech about love and that stuff in front off? Sure your friends wouldn't take the piss at all.

I've done this for landmark birthdays and given it's only ten years ago it might not be too difficult to find but a newspaper or magazine published on the day you met might be a nice touch.

We'd love to do that but don't have the time to go anywhere that's more than a couple hundred kms away. I did suggest Amsterdam for a few days but she wasn't keen on that for some reason.

My wife and I will go to Paris to celebrate our Bdays and anniversary whether its next year or the year after.

We dont give presents on the day.....its a lot easier and we both get what we want without the stress

I like it. I got a Sthil strimmer for my birthday last year.

We're going to Paris in November. I'd like to go to Tuscany but it's a 4-5 hour each-way drive and she has to work on the monday.
