UK not so much, wasnt that the point?

People forget how close to civil collapse we came at the same time. The gold standard and lingering paternalism from Britain made a "new deal" impossible for us. There were large organized groups 8f fascist and communist extremists.Around the same time Nazism (National Socialism) became popular in Germany for similar reasons.
The Japanese only opposed invasion of Australia because of allied defense strength. It is literally my point.
The army's reservations specifically mentioned the allies strength that would be brought to defend the Australian mainland.I think you'll find Japan had mixed intentions regarding Australia. The navy was full of beans after Pearl Harbour, The Army however was much less keen to invade a massive country with nothing but sheep & kangaroos for miles!
After all, invading a defenseless piece of coast is one thing, massive supply lines are harder to protect.
Pretty sure they are all individual needs.
I don't think you even know what you think.Did I wake up in an alternate universe? WTF are you trying to say. Go on, tell me what I believe in?
Otherwise I think you have all got triggered by me putting the word dream in ''
TriggeredThat's the opposite to what I'm saying. You have a nice cage but its not so pleasant if everyone else joins you
laughable that someone hinted I'm like an EMO but do you think EMOS would be so keen on their alternative if everyone else suddenly became one?
This thread isn't worth getting emotional about.BUT,
What I am talking about are the minority that currently are pushing for that, the very small minority that wasn't there a decade ago. The very small minority that has a small possibility to grow into a larger group if more follow the stupid ideal. I did make it clear what I ******* meant too. I quite literally mean the moronic notion of the "real communism hasn't been tried yet" crowd. Why get so emotional about a thread talking about a specific type? If you're not that type - good, stop denying that their aren't those pushing for it.
As to those wanting me to give links, who's pushing it etc. Do 20 minutes of research and see that the minority do exist. I'm not stating that it's widespread or that we should be in panic mode, but to deny it is absolutely ridiculous.
Holy s**t. The comprehension of some of you.
Not once did I say everyone who wants any form of socialism is evil etc. Not once did I say if you lean left you want murderous nation-wide socialism removing capitalism.
BUT,

I don't think we'll be seeing a Glorious October Tractor Collective here anytime soon.
"Shut up".
The racialist populist right is questioning capitalism. The left has always questioned capitalism. After 2008, capitalists are questioning capitalism.
But the notion that a communist movement is brewing is utter bullshit.
I'm not convinced the movement is any bigger that it was ten years ago, or that it is any closer to the levers of real power. I don't think we'll be seeing a Glorious October Tractor Collective here anytime soon.
But we do see a broader discussion about the weaknesses of capitalism and they are very real. If some of the solutions to those issues seem "socialist" well perhaps we need to get over the tags.
This thread isn't worth getting emotional about.
Why don't you bring some actual evidence to the table? Who is a part of this 'communism hasn't been tried yet'?
Without evidence, this reads like an unhinged rant.
Yep funny how we are all snappy, yet the OP didn't even provide a scrap of evidence the terror exists. Because it doesn't.
Also funny how now Boomers are seen as the fat capitalists, yet their propensity to demonstrate against this and that in the sixties and seventies would have the OP suicidal compared to what SJWs today?
People are telling you real communism hasn't been tried? They're pushing for communism?Evidence of what? I have ******* conversations with people about this at work, university etc. There are people who genuinely have this line of thought. I think you're being a bit of a prick.
People are telling you real communism hasn't been tried? They're pushing for communism?
There is not skerrick of evidence to support your claim.
You've made the claim.Dude, what is your ******* problem? I have to give you evidence of my conversations now? I'm not saying anything outrageous; have you been to a university in the last few years?
You've made the claim.
So there is a communist push coming from universities?
Mixed societies (private v public wealth) easily go the best. It’s just a matter of getting the balance right and tweaking it in a constructive rather than ideological way.
Which is demonstrably not easy
