the german is the favourite, but i belive their is a chance, sheedy will be looking for a future star players with massive leadership potential and selwood is sticking out like nothing else as that.

i have watched joel since he was about 12 due to knowing the twins and have never had a doubt about him.. for those who didnt hear the comments when kb asked sheahan about 'who would you choose if you had pick one in the draft' sheahan said 'i would be tossing up between gibbs and selwood'...

those who have talked down his kicking and leg speed have over exaggerated as if they were big negatives when really they're the only things that werent perfect in a sensational young player

i said leadership potential nobby but it takes a good coach and playing group to build on it. Leadership qualities in juniors is a lot different then in AFL but their still their and their is time for them to develop before lloydy will stand down
