Gym douchery.
I went to my gym last night. Was there about 45 min or so. It was around 8pm so there would've been 4 or 5 people in the whole place, tops.
There was one guy who I can only assume thought there were a lot more people there than there actually were and that they were all interested in what he was doing. For a start, he was wearing casual pants (those douchey ones with the low crotch) and a beanie. Not really work out attire to most people. He did a couple of exercises (as in 3 or 4 reps) with a dumbbell, some boxing and a couple of chin ups in about 45 minutes and spent most of the time strutting around, shadow boxing etc. like a cool cat.
I don't usually pay attention to what anyone else does at the gym but it fascinated me. What is the motivation? Was he expecting me or one of the two other dudes there to be impressed by his 4 minutes of actual exercise? Surely if you seek validation you're better off going around 5-7pm when the place is busy and girls are going in and out of group classes etc. Weird.

Why people who don't associate with their gender (male that thinks they're female/females that think they're male) are kicking up a stink about how it's extremely hard to change their birth certificate to reflect their new gender. You were born as 'x' gender, regardless of whether that's not reflective of your current predicament that is what you were born as.

We're all morons in one way or another and as much as you may hit on your brother for taking up smoking, how many things do you do because everyone else does it? Watch stupid TV shows.....Feel compelled to celebrate things you don't really know why you're celebrating.....Get a tattoo because it's very symbolic piece in our life.....Say things or follow things because they're perceived to be cool at the time?

Moron is a terrible term and I apologise for the use.
