Can you get in trouble if you put recycling in waste and vice versa?

My stupid housemate is always putting cans / jars in the waste bin, and more often than not I make the effort to change it into recycling. Should I not even bother?

We got a nasty sticker on our bin when we put broken glass in our waste bin

If the recycling bin is full (and towards the end of 2 weeks it is), I will put it in the red bin.

Not the other way round tho.

My mums partner got a note from the garbo telling him off for putting the aluminium bits of an old printer he'd broken up in the recycling bin.When she told me said why was it a problem when you are mean't to put aluminium cans in that bin.She said a few people had said the same.

I have a garbo who lives just up the street from me who empties all 3 of his bins in the one truck each friday

Saw a story on the news last night that he finds out in about a month how successful the immunotherapy has been. I think he said the treatment has finished just waiting on results

The worst thing in that entire article was that she thought it was okay as he is a "mate after all"

Very few women would ever put in a complaint about something like that because it would only be reinforcing what they are saying and the workplace would become untenable

She will sometimes give me a heads up when I should be careful dealing with our 16 year old but often the warning is too late

I lived with a woman who would always reach for the Maltesers when she had her period. When she broke those out I knew it was time for me to lay low, and try to be "more understanding".
