From research and personal experience it seems that even if you get a good one you could go and buy another exactly the same get it home and find it a piece of crap.

Charge $300 for a sweet looking toaster that does a s**t job pretty much guarantees not only a refund but a boycott and bad publicity going forward. Why do it? Why not just make a decent toaster in the first place?

then i went all fancy and got ones from myer and good guys and harvey *- wit and they all worked like s**t and cost too much
