How's that work? You have 2 tvs set-up next to each other to watch 8 hours of Supernatural while also playing a video game?
Usually involves a television in front and then have a laptop next to me so I can watch/hear.
It seems like a lot effort to put in just to which a bit of tele.
Nah, only works with games and TV shows that require half an effort to watch/play.

For example, in The Witcher 3, there's a lot of walking around involved to get from point A to point B, or fighting weak monsters. During this time, I can catch up on shows I would usually get bored if I was watching it by itself.

Another game is Football Manager, where I do all the match preparations, get my team selected, then let the team play while I go watch TV LOL
How do you focus on things TheFreshBanana?
Look... I either have the worst focus, or I'm so good I can focus on two things...

Experience tells me it's the former

Sounds like ADD. Can you sit and read a book in quiet?
Yeah I can do that. Used to read a lot as a kid, but don't really read that much anymore purely because there are easier ways to be entertained, and finding a good book is hard.

If it's a book I really like, then usually I can't stop until I finish it. It's why I have a no reading book policy before bed. I remember re-reading the Godfather trilogy, ended up reading the whole damn thing until 8am

i think multitasking like that is quite common, moreso in Gen (insert letter here). with smartphones, various methods to communicate, there is so much going on. imagine you had the ability and power to see data travelling over wifi. there'd shit everywhere. also, people these days (Gen ???) feel the need to update twitter, facebook or create hashtags for the sake of it. as a result, a simple task like watching tv becomes second thought

I have just set up a schedule for the 2015-16 TV Season. This includes what dates each TV I watch starts, along with the time and any predicted changes to the scheduling. I did the same thing for the 2014-15 Season as well as the current 2015 Season. Once more news about the episode dates arrives, I will mark which dates the episodes will air, and which ones will be missed.

I plan to schedule my uni timetable around this.

Easy done. I don't even have to set downloads anymore...

Fair point.

Have never partaken in live tweeting but sounds like something that would be up my alley.
