List Mgmt. Thomas, Dea & Gordon Gone

Good decision. Richmond showing a harder edge. Last year these guys were acceptable depth. This year we're trying to get stronger depth into the club. Lloyd saved his bacon with the Collingwood game.
We'll delist him next year

Dea is a strong depth player, I don't support this decision. Can't believe Morris and Elton stay on the list and Dea and McDonough are gone.
How many years does a player have to be on the list before he gets a regular gig in the best 22.

He has been on our list for 6 year which is 2-3 years more than he should have.

Dea is the definition of a list clogger; RFC have had a propensity to keep players on the list far too long hoping they would come good.

Gordon no surprise. Had plenty of chances and would take the spot that of a Lennon or C.Ellis - who are both 10x better.

Thomas is a little bit of a surprise. He's good depth, albeit a bit slow. I suppose the addition of 2 more inside midfielders meant he was excess even for depth and the new interchange limits etc meant that he was unlikely to play seniors.

Dea. Clearly not a coach favourite. We're hardly stacked for short defenders. I guess we might rookie list him but given Dimma's opinion, probably unlikely.

Lloyd is very lucky indeed. He'd want to have an amazing year. Can't see it myself.

How many rookie upgrades can we make? Tipping lambert will be upgraded with 120 but can any of the other rookies be upgraded?
34 Senior players (4-6 spaces available)
As the club tends not to use all spaces on the senior list, I would anticipate just Lambert with 1 DFA and 3 picks in the national draft.
Rookie elevation are not read out on draft night now and don't need picks to do that (same as last year).

We don't have much competition for small forwards at the moment so I can understand keeping him.

Not sure how you fit Elton into the Dea equation as they aren't even competing for the same spot.

The worst thing for the guys personally is they are now out of a job. It's a harsh world where everyone else starts earning more as their career progresses. Still, they can walk into SANFL or WAFL on good coin if they want to. If they have half a clue they will have made decent coin out of their AFL careers anyhow. Good luck to them all.

It's always a shame to see guys cut but good on them for playing at the Tigers. All of us here would kill for just one day of their RFC footballer lives, running out onto the G would have been awesome.

Having said that, I think this is the right decision. Dea had his chances (we delisted Banik after winning the ressies B&F too), Thomas and Gordon would have been good players in years gone by but these days you need to be able to do more than just get the ball.

Two good decisions by the club and by Thomas
For once I agree entirely with them
Lookout RFC.

True indicator of our depth getting better.
The Future delist list is getting shorter by the year.
I'm surprised some of you campaigners havn't drawn up that list yet.:p

Dea might get redrafted by us just to give him a kick up the ass or I can see him playing at a Carlton or left field Brisbane. I still think he is an honest hbf just wasn't attacking enough.

Not Carlton. If they'd had any interest at all they would have just asked us to throw him into the Yarran deal.

For no particular reason I think IF he goes on he'll wind up at Essendon
