Excited about Membrey, don't know anything about the others.

Can't really get over the name Broomhead in the OP tbh.

Is he a running back? He could play the sweeping role.

I think everyone can now agree that Ben Jacobs is not the 'steal of the draft'. For such a hyped up player he's had a terrible start to the year to his career.

Mayes has probably outperformed them both.

Vlaustin as well. Early days but the criticisms of Vlastuin seem to have dissipated (I'm thinking of quigley's review, plus the doubts that some Richmond fans had over him).

Was this draft predicted to be strong? Already several players are performing at very high levels. Don't think many other drafts have produced players killing it only 8 weeks in the season.

The first round was predicted to be very good.

happy with Mayes adds class and skills on the outside with his kicking and decision making. Still playing predominantly outside at the moment but with his size will no doubt be another outside/inside 189cm+ midfield utilities that the Lions have been focusing on these last few years. With an injured pre season he already is starting to show signs of gut running which is pleasing. Only other i'd take before Mayes would be O'meara who is probably the best first year since Judd and could possibly be the best ever first year at this rate.
