Not Tradeable:
Barry Hall - Fair Enough
Brett Kirk - Fair Enough
Leo Barry - Fair Enough
Adam Goodes - Fair Enough
Jude Bolton - Fair Enough
Ben Mathews - You Have To Be Kidding
Ryan O'Keefe - Fair Enough
Amon Buchanan - Fair Enough
Darren Jolly - Fair Enough
Craig Bolton - Fair Enough
Tadgh Kennelly* - Fair Enough, if he decides to stay
Jared Crouch - Fair Enough
Luke Ablett - Fair Enough
Jarrad McVeigh - Fair Enough
Nick Malceski - Fair Enough
Heath Grundy - Fair Enough
Tim Schmidt - Fair Enough
Adam Schneider - Fair Enough

May Trade:
Lewis Roberts-Thomson - Is this some sort of joke??? We aren't going to trade one of best young tall key defenders. In fact any Key Position Players are off the table because he have so few of them. We will try and start to stock pile them this off season to build some depth for the future.
Stephen Doyle - No club will take him with his history of injuries in a trade.
Sean Dempster - Not for trade.
Paul Bevan - Fair Enough
Nic Fosdike - Won't Happen
Luke Vogels - A Key Position Player - Won't Happen
Ted Richards - Same as above
Nick Davis - No other club would want him if we even put him on the table which we won't.
Jarred Moore - We won't be getting rid of one of the few young classy rovers coming though the system - Won't Happen.

Very Tradeable:
David Spriggs - No one will won't him. We'll end up delisting him before trading him.
Paul Chambers - Ditto

Retirements:
Paul Williams

Unknown Quantity:
Simon Philips - Should be given another year on the rookie list to prove himself.
Ryan Brabazon - Can't get rid of a first year player anyway.
Andrew Eriksen - Might be delisted
Kristin Thornton - Read Brabazon
Josh Willoughby - Might be traded for a late pick
Earl Shaw - A keeper
Matthew Davis - Might be delisted
Matthew Laidlaw - Read Brabazon and Thornton

*may be leaving

Doubt we'll do much trading. Everitt is our only target and we'll try and get him for as little cost as possible.

Ben Mathews - You Have To Be Kidding
Rated very very highly amongst the people at the club. People forget very quickly he had a stellar 2004 and was ranked with Kirk, Hall, Jude, Leo and Goodesy as a potential captain.

i reckon moore would be seen as expendable given the number of similar types on our list and have some trade value if we are to go after everitt

i must disgaree with some... LRT is going to stay, he's one of our key defenders, and big improvers. Nick Davis??? Nah... don't think so. Nic Fosdike??? Never ever...why bother? he's pretty good at the moment [despite concussion]. Ted Richards just needs a bit of a run in the reserves, wouldn't be traded.

Right on about Mathews being non tradeable, no one would have him.

Trade LRT - rocks in your head.

Now Bevan that name makes sense. Problem is an NRL side would probably snap him up.

Why does Fozzy's name keep getting thrown up? He is a serious member of our side. Have a close look at his third quarters. Who is the go to man in the second half off the full back line on the fat side of the ground? While the opposition refuses to show him respect and let him roam free he willl remain a very valuable player for us.

Fosdike and LRT are certainly not tradeable.

Fosdike's latter season form - in particular his GF performance - was integral to our Premiership, and that stuff just never gets forgotten, let alone a mere 12 mths on.

As for Lewie, it might sound like a big call but I seriously believe LRT could well prove to be one of the most important players on our list in time - if structurally he's not already.

Fosdike and LRT are untradeable. I like Fosdike and i think he is one of our most underrated players, one that has a knack of racking up possessions without catching much attention. LRT has developed nicely as a key defender for us as well and is certainly not up for trade.

Matthews and Vogels, well, i am 50/50 on them both. Perhaps if they were put onto the table come trade period and if another club offers something we like then i don't see why not go for it? Otherwise i think they are fine to keep. Bevan i think can be traded. Gives 100% all the time, plenty of courage but despite these traits i don't think he is for us.

I've been saying this since Mathews became a regular player - he is a dead set dud.:thumbsd: Poor ball handler who turns over frequently - even in 2004. The only thing going for him is that he is a premiership player.
Originally I wasn't a fan of LRT but gladly, he has proved me wrong. Must stay.:thumbsu:
Bevo & Dempster - fringe players, maybe tradeable but like Fosdyke (been around a while now but having a stellar year), slow improvers - getting better each week.
Davis now has a lot to prove and I think he can do it if he pulls his head in.
Poor Doyley - always injured. If we get Everitt, he and Chambers have to go .

why trade players like dempster or bevan for the sake of trading when we've already invested 3-4 years developing them.

they dont have much value and statistics indicate that there's a good chance that the player you draft won't make it anyway

This will be one of the more harder off seasons than I can remember. Apart from Spriggs, there is no obvious standout to be delisted, let alone to be used as possible trade bait.

We'll use draft picks as bargaining chips for Everitt and possibly throw in a fringe youngster (Willoughby, Matthew Davis or Andrew Eriksen). Apart from that who knows.

The future of someone's place in the list hangs on whether Kennelly decides to leave or stay.

How many do we have to delist at the end of the year again?

I'd like to have Buddy Franklin, he's like so hot right now.

He'll be at the Hawks for a long time i think.

Personally, he reminds me of a young Michael O'Loughlin.

Only possibles I see are Josh Willoughby, Matthew Davis, David Spriggs, Jared Moore. The others are required or too old.
Tim Schmidt will probaly stay because he has played two games and has a future. We will have to lose a draft pick for Everitt plus a player bit I hope they don't give away draft pick 1.

agreed:thumbsu: spider would be good as a role model and as such. so long as there are no drastic changes then the swans should be all good for next season hopefully

DEFINITELY!! NO TRADING OF FOZZY, LRT, DEMPSTER OR MOORE! Fozzy is one of our best (no doubt!), LRT has developed alot and can take out a Matty Richardson type (BTW how many backmen do ppl think the swans have - answer: not many!!), Dempster (premiership player in his 1st year - will only get better!). Moore has shown that he will could be a great versatile player (would like to see him get some time in back pocket, back flank - again we need more good backmen!).

The only players that could be considered as trade bait are definitely Spriggs and Chambers. Possibles are Bevo, Doyley (if we get Everitt) and Matthews.

Draft target - One quality backmen + Everitt would make is an even better team!! UP THE SWANNIES!!!!!:)
