Anyone head down?
Did Bucks have the whips out?
Where they pushing the same tired zone defence? Anyone?

The training session consisted of the injured blokes running laps and the fit blokes guarding space.

Balmy was sharing a family Pizza with Rocca.

They just guarded grass for over an hour and i can tell you all right now, that grass did not have any impact what so ever, it never had a chance, we're so good at it! we also practiced butchering kicks, solid session!

Howe's dog was in attendance, picking out his new victim.

Cannot like this post enough

Did we practice kick out techniques such as the "pass to a 1-on-3" or the "bomb long with no idea where you've kicked it"?
Yep, with Blairy being the designated "one"

Did DeGoey get his 'being run down from behind' technique squared away?

Have to admit this made me laugh. Hysterically, with more than a little crazy, but it was a genuine laugh. Especially that line about Howes' dog.

We also practised falling off tackle bags ineffectually and slipping to the ground whilst "zoning" space with no player within 5 metres.

Wasn't expecting such an amusing response, but it has been nonetheless.

The bit that impressed me most was the part of training dedicated to hurting yourself. How to land so you hyperextend your knee. Running so as to maximize chance of a hamstring. Twisting for career threatening injuries to the joints. Some players have put in a power of work. Have to say, some other players are so unco they keep landing safely though. Still some work to do.

I like how in step with these politically correct times we're perfecting out tackling technique where you make sure not to hurt the opponent and definitely don't ping his arms.
The boys call it hug a mate.

The "Hug & Release" is something they've obviously been training for well
