Does anyone have any training news from today or Monday?

I am keen to know how Johnson, Didak, Clement & Bucks are travelling.

I know bucks wont play this week, but I heard a whisper from a valued source (current senior player) that he should play Anzac day or at worst the week after.

Didak will play this week, but not sure where?

So my concerns are mostly with Clement & Johnson. We need them in this week.

If we can beat Port & Bombers in the next two weeks, well that will set our season up & 4-1, with all key players back!!

TOP 4 here we come!

does bucks really have a hamstring?
its been quite a while now since he "did" it

you cant treat bucks' hammy like any other. He is 35 & they are treating it with caution.

3 weeks for normal hammy, but 6 weeks for a 35 year old is appropiate!

Clment hurt his calf in the warm up last week, but it was supposed to be only tightness.

I guess playing two games in 5 days will be risky for clement, so I expect he would be right for anzac day!

I would think that six weeks it pretty extreme, it wasn't torn. if a hamstring takes 3 weeks to heal what does 6 weeks do? i mean it cant heal anymore once its healed (if that makes sense) im no expert but could someone please enlighten me on why you would be out for 6 weeks with a hamstring injury.
Thank

I am no doctor..lol But he did strain his hammy & given his recent history, I would say they are getting mils into his legs so strengthen up hammy!

Although it might be back related & they could be getting his back right!

Who knows, but he will be BACK!

Didak will play this week?? Thats great news just as long as he is available for the dons...

I wouldn't rule Clement out on top of a C10 report. They have led us astray on many occassions. It is not un-common for a Collingwood player to miss a session. However he would be in a lot of doubt, which totally blow my Super Coach. I am gonna have atleast 2 non scores this week. My defense is in tatters. 4 injuries.

Rob Waters (Ch10 reporter) is a joke. Now I don't know what he said a while back, I think it was about MM quitting because of a heart problem which was absoloute BS and he wasn't accountable and was so pigheaded about it and never admitted he might of been wrong.

Heard from a reliable source(assistant coach) that jimmy actually strained his calf against the coast but played on. They won't risk him this week as that would require 2 games in 5 days, a cautious approach seems the right one here. Will play anzac day. Bucks also to be back anzac day, very possible just to play from the goal square.

Add Holland and Rusling, Johno for 1 and a half games. Tarrant traded, many picked we would finish in the bottom four by gee it would be a ****ing great start
lol yep sure would be...anything can happen....i dunno id rather see the returning from injuries come back in the anzac game and use the port game to keep the youth flowing...be interesting to see how the team lines up on sat and on wednesday

Yeah, I agree. Better saving Didak and Johnson for ANZAC day with only a 4 day turnaround from the Port game.

Stick to the point JABBER and play the ball rather than the man. Three infringement points winging there way towards you.

Probably wishful thinking on muddy's part - not a bad journo and good bloke

I wish malty had a bad heart too

Stateing the bleeding obvious, but the next 2 weeks are huge! How will the young brigade perform against some stiffer opposition, Port, and then what will ANZAC Day bring as far performance under pressure if the older vets are back in the team? Essendon blew it last week and have shown they are suspect through the centre, the question is, will they rise to the occassion or crumble like they did against Carlton? Port will be good to go and there won't be any getting away with a slow start this week.
