15°C - 9°C , Light Rain , 90% chance of Rain, Wind : NNW 16KPH

- Today sees the return of Jake King, Daniel Connors and Brad Miller in what is expected to be wet conditions . Based on this seasons form we should have a comfortable win , however last years lost to GC has many wary of the new franchise . Add to that the indifferent form in the wet last week and the game looks be a good test.

Richmond
B: Newman Rance Batchelor
HB: Dea Griffiths Houli
C: Jackson Martin Grigg
HF: Edwards Miller Deledio
F: Nahas Riewoldt Conca
R: Maric Cotchin Tuck
INT: Connors King Ellis
SUB: O'Hanlon

GWS Giants
B: Luke Power, Phil Davis, Sam Darley
HB: Tomas Bugg, Tim Mohr, Toby Greene
C: Tom Scully, James McDonald, Adam Treloar
HF: Chad Cornes, Jeremy Cameron, Rhys Palmer
F: Devon Smith, Jonathon Patton, Nick Haynes
Foll: Dean Brogan, Callan Ward, Dylan Shiel
Int: Shaun Edwards, Andrew Phillips, Taylor Adams
Sub: Sam Schulz

I think big Maric is important for us again today against Brogan (with Giles out) who will be a bit underdone, so I think his around the ground work will be key today.

Also the wet weather puts in to question whether the Tiges will risk Jack after last weeks injury, so a possibility that they might go a little smaller and put White in? I don't think this will do much for our structure though, so hopefully Jack is 100% and takes to the ground.

Looking at GWS outs, (Giles, Congilio, Tyson) we should win this, by a lot.

I believe Griffiths would be better placed on Patton and Rance should go to Cameron.

We just can't lose this, if I supported any other team I probably wouldn't be that worried, but I support Richmond.

Connors as sub.

The radar looks like solid rain for next couple f hours, might c,lear in afternoon but will be very wet and slippery

No dry weather footy crap that we played in the first half last week.... get it on the boot and get it forward... Looking forward to us grinding out a solid win... I would prefer that than to just beat a GWS that just rolls over (although that would be better for our %)

TIGERS BY 63 POINTS

Should be a walk in the park , would win by over 100 if the weather wasnt so crap.
Nice percentage booster for the tigers in this game.

Thanks Sheeds resting your best 3 players today
Giles ......... Far better than that hack Bogan who couldnt get a game at port even though they had no other ruckman
Coniglio ......Fantastic Kid and already proven what a class act he will become (blair write his name in your book for next year with $400,000py signed cheque)
Tyson ............. Great Player

Richmond by 39, but as long as we get the 4 points i'm happy.
Anyone know why Vickery flew up with the group?
He is doing one of the supporter functions

Am actually pretty nervous about this match. Looking at the two line ups I wouldn't say there is a huge class difference. Maric, Cotchin, Tuck is a better line but the rest is reasonably even.

Should win easily still but I thought that last week. Bigfooty will go into meltdown if we lose.

I have been to Sydney, in summer, for a total of 10 days. Not one day was the sun shining. It was overcast (and humid of course) for every one of those days. Makes me wonder what the bridge actually looks like when it's sunny!

Anyway, gotta win today. Surely we cant lose.

Such a shithole weather wise Sydney.
Today's game for me has a feel of just wanting to get it out of the way unscathed of you know what I mean.
